The opportunity to attend RYLA has been one of the most positive experiences in my life so far. I went to the seminar with little understanding of the concept of RYLA but knew this was going to be the opportunity of a life time. I walked away a better individual, team member and leader.
It is difficult to do the RYLA experience justice with words alone. The seminar is a rollercoaster of emotion and learning that pushes you to challenge yourself and broaden your perspective of the world. At the end of the week you come out with a a greater understanding of yourself, an appreciation for the myriad of opportunities at your feet and the motivation to face them head on. I applied to attend RYLA after being harassed by a friend telling me I "must do it". All I can say is, I will follow her orders without question from now on! RYLA was a phenomenal week of my life, it cannot be explained as until you experience it for yourself, you will never understand how this little 'camp' can have such a huge impact. Suffice to say I am smiling, motivated, more positive, made amazing friends and have more belief in myself than I ever thought I would.
